Our team is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers, Artefact Social and Hamilton Technology Centre employees, and independent project leads.
Rob McCann – Hamilton Technology Centre
Rob McCann is the founder of Clearcable and the owner of Hamilton Technology Centre. As an enthusiastic entrepreneur, Rob has been building and operating technology companies since 1998. He’s an active participant in the local community previously working on the Mayor’s Intelligent Community Task Force, supporting the local Chambers of Commerce, and serving as music director for the annual Healthy Youth Network’s Flamborough Paint Challenge. Rob’s passion is live music, but he can also be found engaging in a wide range of the local arts community. Known for saying “Technology without art is boring,” Rob is committed to using the Hamilton Technology Centre as a showcase for local arts and businesses.
Roshni Motiwalla – Hamilton Technology Centre
Director of operations at Hamilton Technology Centre, Roshni brings diverse experiences incorporating creativity with efficiency to operations, special projects, and events. A strong background and keen interest in art and design, she is passionate, inspired, and excited to bring local art to the Hamilton Technology Centre and community.
Jamie Tillotson – Hamilton Technology Centre
Anita Thomas – Project Director
Anita Thomas is a lifelong, multi-disciplinary artist working in encaustics, acrylics, cold wax with oils, and photography. Originally from Toronto and now living in Hamilton, Thomas’ award-winning work is sold through specialty stores as well as online. She has participated in many arts festivals, fundraising events, and juried group and solo exhibitions including at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, McMaster Innovation Park, and the Louvre in Paris, France. Her work hangs in private collections and professional offices throughout Canada, the United States, France, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
Sharon Crump – Lead Volunteer
Sharon is an artist from Burlington working in oils and encaustics. Previously a successful business owner specializing in educational toys, she brings to us her valuable experience in brand development, marketing strategies, social media marketing, and social media networking.
