My name is Atosa Vali, and I am an oil painter. I started doing oil painting in 2021. I was always fascinated by the beauty of nature and landscape. I wanted to express my joy by painting them.

In my 40s, I got the courage to teach myself how to paint in oils. The method that I use is the wet on wet oil painting technique. In that case, I do not wait for my paints to dry in the interim. I apply paint layers on top of one another, which enables them to mix and blend. This style, allows me to paint beautiful mountains, lakes, sunset and so on.

Painting brings me peace and joy. My goal is to transfer those feelings to others when they look at my paintings.
