Bio / Artist Statement

My story begins in Poland, where I grew up and completed my education in commercial art and advertising before setting my roots in Canada, almost 40 years ago. Upon my immigration to Canada, I continued to expand my studies, taking numerous additional art and business courses at the Dundas Valley School of Art, Art Gallery of Hamilton, Mohawk College.

My education led me to become a graphic designer, but my creative mind was always wandering, allowing me to explore many other faces of art – dabbling in painting, drawing, pyrography, creative window art, and international mural creation.

Currently, I live and create in my home studio in Dundas, Ontario. This cozy town has also been a major source of inspiration for me. I have an ever-growing watercolour collection of historical buildings and homes from the area, and now I have the Art of Heritage award-winning book, My Walks of Art.
