Exhibition No. 2

Bio / Artist Statement

For me, photography is as much about the experience as it is the final image.

I have passed this location many times and it’s one of my favourite places to photograph.

There is a haunting allure to these abandoned buildings that draws me in and I enjoy the solitude as I walk the grounds looking for new compositions. The use of black and white strips away the distraction of colour and emphasizes the raw textures and intricate details that time has etched onto these forgotten structures.

The images illustrate the fragility of human existence and is a reminder of the temporary nature of the structures we build.

Each decaying wall, shattered window, and overgrown garden speaks of a past filled with stories, memories, and dreams now left to decay.
