Exhibition No. 2

I have had the opportunity to visit Venice, Italy twice in my lifetime, so far, and it has captured my heart. To say the place is magical is an understatement.

My first trip was for my 40th birthday and my second was in 2020. That time, I stayed for 10 days in January and I got to photograph the locals with limited tourists, another dream come true. The light was extraordinary! I happily got lost wandering the little alleyways looking for images. I loved seeing the laundry blowing in the breeze and the gondoliers going down the canals. I made thousands of photographs and memories.

A week after returning, Italy closed their doors with the pandemic. I look forward to going back again!
My work has been exhibited, collected and published within Canada and internationally.
