Gabrielle Ranger is an artist working out of Waterdown, Ontario. She received her Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in 2021 from the University of Ottawa. There, she honed her craft and specialized in painting and drawing. Currently the primary mediums she uses include; acrylic paint, enamel paint, digital drawings, watercolour paint, and pencil.

In terms of the themes of her work, she is very much influenced by nature and enjoys adding an element of whimsy. Her work is meant to compliment nature with vivid colours, inviting the viewer into a new bright environment. Landscapes, animals (both real and mythical), and architectural elements are her preferred subjects to depict. She often combines these subject to create a more dynamic scene where the viewers eyes can wander.

Gabrielle’s style is inspired by the work of the Impressionism, post-Impressionism, Tonalism and Realism.
