Exhibition No. 3

Joanna Zakrzewski’s art stays away from social or political issues. It focuses instead on everyday moments of beauty and interest, on storytelling of who and how we are. Staying away from “doom and gloom” of current news, it brings relief and moments of happiness and freedom.

Joanna believes in community and is an active member of the Burlington Fine Arts Association where she helps organizing workshops on topics relevant to an artist career, like different painting techniques, how to run your business, or how to apply to a juried show. Joanna has been selected into several juried shows on provincial and national levels, and is currently working on approaching galleries to exhibit her work.
