Exhibition No. 3

A mother and grandmother, I was born and raised in Hamilton and have been interested in art my entire life.

I am currently the president/treasurer for the Women’s Art Association of Hamilton, the vice president for the Southern Ontario Nature and Science Illustrators, the newsletter editor for the Central Ontario Art Association, an elected member of the Colour and Form Society, and a new member of the Burlington Fine Arts Association.

As a lifelong learner with three honours visual arts certificates from Mohawk College I am always looking for opportunities to try all forms of media. I am currently working between coloured pencil, pastel, acrylic, and Chinese Brush Painting. Originally a mechanical draftsperson and technical illustrator I prefer detailed illustrative work including botanicals, birds, and animals. My love of nature and Ontario’s native plants has been the focus of my most recent works as I capture the beauty and amazing diversity of nature throughout Hamilton.
