Exhibition No. 3

Bio / Artist Statement

Years of sharing words and metaphors to understand children’s stories with all of their colourfulness and spiritedness, has built a foundation for exploring the visual colourfulness and spiritedness of nature though images of intimate landscapes.

I fell in love with the naturalistic setting of the Hendrie Valley Sanctuary as a place of reflection and relaxation where I can visually record feelings and impressions of this magnificent wetland revitalization. This is a place that embodies the effort and hope of a positive direction in the climate change debate.

The photographic technique used falls in the Impressionist genre and lends itself to the expression of hope and resiliency that sustains nature, including its humans, in all of the chapters that await.
