Exhibition No. 4

Carol Priamo brings her longtime art practices in photography, collage, and printmaking to create multi-layered, mixed media compositions of surrealistic expression.

Through selection and integration of disparate elements—altered photographic images, drawing, and painting with various ephemera of old book pages, letters, decorative papers, maps and scanned textures—a new reality of complexity and imagination emerges.

This process is reliant on experimentation and exploration using both traditional and digital art-making tools to magically transform unrelated components into a cohesive and engaging new reality.

Carol’s passion for historical architecture, combined with a fascination for past memorabilia, provides her with the raw materials to spark her imagination and inspire her work.
