Christopher Motherwell’s passion for nature, and his desire to share it with others, has inspired him to search for and photograph details and scenes that are seldom seen or little noticed. He has a strong inclination and affinity for macro-photography to create powerful images that also convey a magical aura.

In his art photography, he endeavours to go beyond documentation to find and express the essence of the subject at the moment he is capturing it. Through these images, he expresses his feelings for the locations he visits and the wonders of the surroundings that he encounters. Christopher’s attempt to create a sense of awe in the viewer while beholding the art of nature’s forms and their presence all around us.
