“My life is shaped by the urgent need to wander and observe, and my camera is my passport.”

Franca Marazia lives in Hamilton, Ontario. She is a multi-genre photographer who is attracted to colour, shapes, textures, as well as a variety of subjects. She focuses on the world that surrounds her. Camera in hand, Marazia usually sets out with a destination and a plan, but she happily welcomes the photograph that presents itself in the moment.

“I do believe that joy comes to us in moments, ordinary moments. And sometimes, ordinary is extraordinary.”
