Gabrielle Ranger is an emerging artist based in Waterdown. She received her Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in 2021 from the University of Ottawa. There, she honed her craft and specialized in painting and drawing.

Currently, the mediums she enjoys working with include: Acrylic paint, digital art, watercolour paint, and pencil. However, she primarily uses acrylic paint to render her work. She likes to paint on a variety of mediums; traditional canvases, murals, found objects, and furniture.

Gabrielle’s style has been described as impressionist inspired with an illustrative element. In terms of the themes of her work, she is very much influenced by nature, by adding an element of whimsy. Landscapes, animals (both real and mythical), and architectural elements are her preferred subjects to depict. When presented the opportunity, she often combines these subjects to create a dynamic scene for the viewer’s eye to wander.
