Nature and its countless combination of materials inspirit Marie-Claire Kos’ artistic voice to start her art with the question ” what if?” and the belief that most anything is possible.

Born in Paris, France, the family moved to Canada in 1970. She is a graduate of the Sheridan College visual and creative arts. She was a graphic designer and administrator prior to retiring in 2019. M.C. lives in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

“My favorite method of expression is to combine materials to capture traces of fragility, movement and the playfulness of Life’s trails and tales. Close your eyes, take the journey to a place void of roads, structures and signs. The powerful beauty left is a reflection of the invisible and intangible grandeur that lies within the frozen behemoths.”
