For Maureen Sweeney, photography offers the artist a way to compose and present an image to send a certain message to the viewer. The photograph can evoke specific feelings and emotions. The viewers interpretation of the image is extremely personal. She alters her images until she finds that perfect moment in time that speaks to the viewer.
