Capturing special moment in time is what motivates Michelle Nettleton. From dancing, vibrating, light-filled passages to richly colored transparent darks, Nettleton uses the fluidity of watercolour paint to expertly render florals, landscapes, animals and people. She is enthralled with the spontaneity of paint applied to paper and the natural glow created by transparent layers of colour applied over a light surface.

Possessing a degree in Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Education, Michelle has painted for over 50 years. She is an award-winning Burlington, Ontario artist.
