In a flash of perception Monique Campbell identifies a moment and clicks the shutter already knowing the end result will demonstrate her empathy and intimacy. Finding interest by observing the mundane, the ordinary and the moments most people take for granted she excels in producing captivating photographs that linger in the minds of viewers.

The Hamilton humanist street photographer enjoys searching for photographs at home and abroad gravitating towards moments and stories that she shares with the world.

Havana Stilt Walker is a fond memory from her trip. She has loved all three times she has visited Havana, Cuba and looks forward to going back one day to photograph on the streets again.

Monique’s award winning work has been collected, published and exhibited both locally and internationally.
