Anita Thomas is a lifelong, multi-disciplinary artist from Toronto, now based in Hamilton since 2004. Specializing in encaustics, she also works in acrylics, cold wax with oils, and fine art photography, focusing on aviation, aerial, and landscapes.

“Working across different mediums and styles fuels my creativity,” Thomas explains. “I find endless inspiration in the unique techniques and properties of each material. For me, artistic growth comes from exploring these diverse sources of creative expression.”

Thomas’ award-winning work is sold through specialty stores and online. She has participated in many juried group and solo exhibitions, arts festivals, and fundraising events at art venues, galleries, and museums, including the Louvre in Paris, France.

Her pieces grace private collections and professional offices across the globe, with works held in Canada, the United States, France, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
