“My life is shaped by the need to wander and observe, and my camera is my passport.”

Franca Marazia lives in Hamilton, Ontario. She notices details, patterns, and beauty in everyday life. Photography is a creative process that allows Marazia to document her journey, share her perspective, and connect with others on a deeper level.

“Photography has the power to connect people across time, distance, and cultural boundaries. Furthermore, one photograph is powerful enough to not only remind one of an event or detail, but can transport one right back to the feelings, sounds, and even smells of the moment. For me, such examples include: The ocean breeze on my face as I capture the beauty of the Atlantic; the aroma of fresh bread wafting out of a bakery as I wander the cobblestone streets of Bari Vecchia in Italy; and, the joyful sound of my parents’ laughter.“
