Gabrielle Ranger is an artist located in Waterdown, Ontario. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2021 from the University of Ottawa. There, she honed her craft and specialized in painting and drawing. From there Gabrielle began to work with townships, businesses, and private commissions to establish herself in the Waterdown/Hamilton community.

Currently, the primary mediums she uses include: Acrylic paint, enamel paint, print making, watercolour paint, and pencil while painting on a variety of substrates such as canvas, household objects, and murals. Her work thematically revolves around nature and animals, sometimes incorporating interesting architectural elements in the background. Inspired by the impressionists, Gabrielle enjoys adding flourishes of vibrant colour to resonate with nature’s vibrancy, while also using similar painterly styles of mark making which from afar creates a realistic image.
