Vanessa Cress Lokos is a contemporary award winning Canadian artist and a member of several art organizations, including the Ontario Society of Artists. She has a gift for recognizing and preserving fleeting moments of human inspiration. At heart she is a storyteller, finding material at home and on her travels.

She has studied, exhibited, and sold internationally. Recently her focus has been on contemporary figurative painting using traditional glaze oil techniques. Irony, playfulness, and the unexpected are often conveyed through her art.

Vanessa has a BA with a Concentration in Visual Arts from the University of Ottawa and has been exhibiting regularly since 2009.
