Exhibition No. 1

Hamilton’s Dundurn Castle took three years to build and was completed in 1835. The 18,000 square foot home was purchased by the City of Hamilton around 1899 for $50,000 and since then, almost $3 million has been invested to restore it to the year 1855 when Sir Allen MacNab was at the height of his career.

Dundurn Castle is a challenge to photograph but I love to wander the grounds with my camera and if I’m lucky, I go home with a little piece of art.
