My name is Mina, and I am an artist. Professionally, I am a textiles technologist with a specialty in dyeing and printing, but I have always had a passion for painting and felt connected to art. About 17 years ago, I enrolled in acrylic workshops to advance my painting skills. While I continued painting in acrylic, I also joined water colour art classes.

There I found a new challenge, art in water colours appeals to my creative side and challenges my patience.

Painting has become part of my soul, so much so that, when I close my eyes, I see swirling colours and dancing paint brushes which shape a beautiful world around me. I took refuge in painting when everything outside my family life seemed harsh and hopeless. Painting has renewed my belief in fun and frolic. My art is a connection with nature and my inner feelings.
