Visual artist focusing on abstract painting in acrylics. My preferred abstract art techniques are the Bloom and Dutch Pour with a smidgen of swiping and pouring thrown in the mix. An engineer by profession, I started painting in 2016 taking evening classes in painting and drawing at the Dundas Valley School of Art. I find painting a relaxing stress relief, giving me the opportunity to exercise the artistic half of my brain. My love for the splendour of God’s magnificent creations and the beauty found in nature, inspire me to capture the wonder and the emotions they evoke in me on canvas. My focus is on creating bold, vibrant abstract works of art, reflecting my love for bright colours and shimmering iridescence, which invites the observer to view the painting from different angles.
