Local Art Scene Thrives at Exhibition No. 5 Reception

Hamilton Technology Centre Transformed for Evening of Art and Community

The Hamilton Technology Centre’s striking atrium was abuzz with creativity and conversation last evening as it played host to the highly anticipated Exhibition No. 5 reception. The event drew an impressive crowd of art enthusiasts, local business leaders, and community members who gathered to celebrate the vibrant local arts scene.

Among the diverse attendees were delegates from the ICF Smart 21 Summit and participants of the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce Business After 5 event, creating a dynamic mix of art lovers and business professionals.

Attendees were treated to an exceptional display of artwork in a welcoming atmosphere. Wine was served alongside an impressive spread of gourmet refreshments, allowing guests to linger and fully appreciate both the art and the opportunity for connection.

A highlight of the evening was the presence of three featured artists—Michelle Nettleton, Victoria Wallace, and Aleah Henry—who set up dedicated showcase tables throughout the venue. These interactive stations allowed guests to engage directly with the creators, learning about their processes and inspirations while viewing additional pieces not included in the main exhibition.

“We’re thrilled with the turnout and the energy tonight,” said a representative from Artefact Social. “Exhibition No. 5 represents our ongoing commitment to creating spaces where art, business, and community can flourish together.”

The event was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the The Hamilton Technology Centre, Artefact Social, and the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce, organizations that continue to demonstrate their dedication to supporting cultural initiatives in the region.

For those unable to attend the reception, Exhibition No. 5 will remain on display from February 13 to June 18, 2025. The public is welcome to view the exhibition during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Hamilton Technology Centre.
